Scoop: Twitter employees in Europe and the UK have not received any form of internal comms from Twitter's leadership about what is happening or will happen since the deal closed.

They are checking Twitter accounts and the press, second-guessing what could or could not happen.

The most reliable source of information seems to be Elon's public Twitter, where he is mocking onboarding emails:

Twitter employees I talk with assume this is all deliberate: creating an environment that is hostile to employees, from day one.

@gergelyorosz If ever there was a person who needed that guide, it's Musk.
@gergelyorosz I wonder if he has some kind of cognitive dissonance just because Twitter is organized so differently than any of the companies he's been running so far
@dominikroszkowski well, there aren't many people who run so many companies - and one of them so obviously different than all others.
@gergelyorosz it's unfortunate given Twitter is just as much a pioneer in social media as Tesla is in transportation. There is good there.
@gergelyorosz I was also wondering why is he doing it, since onboarding process is important
@gergelyorosz that tweet by Musk is a pretty good indication that he has no idea what he's doing. Should make for some good entertainment.

@gergelyorosz That's a real pity; he might learn something from that course.

Although to be fair, I'd probably be wincing at the word "Tweeps", too.
