Scoop: Twitter employees in Europe and the UK have not received any form of internal comms from Twitter's leadership about what is happening or will happen since the deal closed.
They are checking Twitter accounts and the press, second-guessing what could or could not happen.
The most reliable source of information seems to be Elon's public Twitter, where he is mocking onboarding emails:

@gergelyorosz That's a real pity; he might learn something from that course.
Although to be fair, I'd probably be wincing at the word "Tweeps", too.
