Some of you may notice the trimmed beak. This painful practice is sadly not only still legal in Spain (as in many other countries) but it is virtually impossible to acquire unmutilated chickens (in our region).

We were given these chickens (their wings are clipped too) and are going to give them the best life possible, but I feel these practices (which are directly linked to factory farming) need to be made more public and banned everywhere!
