@aceofhearts Me, too. I like the way you can specify the CWs here. That’s such a nice thing. And I’m glad to have a new start. My Twitter was people from my old job, etc., and it wasn’t as comfortable for me.
@aceofhearts That has been my experience. I was thinking yesterday about a group of mean girls at a job I had who made fun of me like we were in middle school. 🙄 and they say we have no social skills.
@aceofhearts it’s great in that way. And they back me when I refuse to talk to people on the phone. I find the phone very taxing, aurally and socially. I do it sometimes but it’s awful.
@aceofhearts I read that it’s the compression they use. It makes it more harsh on the ears. I have some Bose earbuds. However Bose determines their baseline sound mix cuts some of it. But it’s still an ouchy, anxiety provoking thing for me.
@aceofhearts The noise thing is the hardest aspect of this for me. I do better with noises I control, even if they are loud. Loud music that is syncing with where my head is at is amazing. Also me: Putting felt or silicone bumpers on all the cabinet doors and drawers. I need to map out what noise is OK for me and what noise sends me over the edge, because it just makes no sense sometimes.
