I have seen the top of that thread pass me by (get boosted in my timeline) a few times, but only seeing your suggestion to read the whole tread made me do that.

For one: recommendations work. Nice.

But also something along the lines of: I am not paying attention to what @silverspookgames hast to say :-( - until @aral suggest to do that....

@aral I'd suggest folks also straight up follow him, because he's awesome and quite often, he'll post something I _should_ have known about Hawaii, but didn't, because I grew up in the US.

Yes, he's a bit like you and I, where our conversational abilities often are a bit over the top, but we are all well meaning, and well, when we're sure you're listening, we start listening too. Ok that last one may be more me than the two of you... meaning you may not have the "shut down everything until my point is across" problem.
