FFS, the one time I am not careful about not having drinks on the same level as my laptop, I knock over my fucking tea mug; or rather my chair did as I swiveled round on my chair.
I really hope I managed to turn the laptop off and removed the keyboard before it could do harm... I'll check #iFixIt for a complete teardown guide to check the area underneath the keyboard...

No teardown guide on #iFixIt for the #HP645 G1, but the official #HPSupport channel on #YouTube has videos for the G2, which afaik is fairly similar.
Looks like it's supposed to be fairly spill-proof, and as I didn't really see much liquid underneath the keyboard, I'm going to assume it's survived alright.
Does seem to be some moisture between the keyboard and its plastic cover underneath, so I'll probably let the keyboard dry a bit more; maybe see if I can find some compressed air for it.

Update on the laptop that got #tea spilled on:

All keys seem to work, though a couple aren't springing back as well as they should; specifically the space bar.
That'll teach me to have sugar in my tea I guess?

I guess I'll try to remove some of these keycaps, if that's possible, and try to clean them.
