@itssynecdoche @dearthofsid we do something similar on linux. Distro hopping - changing our linux os to different flavors every few days or months. And finally, hopefully, settling on one.
For the normal user is best to stick to what's popular always unless you are looking for something with specific needs

@dearthofsid There is no such thing as "best instance", just as there is no "best" group of people.

These are just communities; some will suit you more, some will suit you less. It all depends on your interests.
