I truly don't understand posts that yell at people for extreme #climate events when it's beyond any doubt that 'individual action' contributes very little to reverse #climatechange. Instead, make posts yelling at Global North, Big Industry, individual Capitalists with name and address.

It is indeed a concern that it is a 'deficit budget', but achieving financing for the Gaurantee programmes without increasing a whole lot of taxes, is just something! A State of #Karnataka's size isn't going to drown because of 12k crore deficit revenue. If you win a decisive mandate, you can make even the BJP sit down and listen to you taunting them. Kudos to CM #Siddaramaiah for a great budget, great speech and PC thereafter.

Let me explain. In no circumstances in the outcome of this case #RahulGandhi and Congress will be on the back foot. Effectively, there is no 'setback'. #Congress will enjoy every minute of attention it gets. If his conviction continues, they'll milk it to its final drop for 2024. The PM issue of Opposition also gets sorted a bit. And if he wins, his stature rises further and it will give a boost to Opposition Unity too.

@gpollara @academicchatter I do not think the trade off between giving Facebook ALL your info just to have a place to discuss science, is a worthy one.

Specially when there is already a Fediverse. We DO NOT need #Meta here, siphoning all our posts and media. I think we could do without it.
