Has anybody else experienced a problem with following someone? Some people you press the button and it works. However for some profiles, I press the grey button and it turns blue (ie Iā€™m following) and then turns grey again (not following).
What am I doing wrong- is it a bug in the software? #amaroq or do I need permission?

@Literati It is because a follow request is sent from your server to the other server. Sometimes the other server might not be ready to accept the request as it might be busy with lot of pending actions to do.
Does it happen with accounts on the same server, if so it could be #amaroq issue. Open #mastodon on any browser, it should load neatly, also check there.

@Literati @Gargron I think it is their account settings. I get an hourglass, and assume the follow will be approved and show up later. Or is it? Am just learning, too.šŸ˜‰
