@purism
Yay! Can't wait to get mine   . Are the cases plastic or metal? Its a bit hard to tell.
@RandomPhoton they are metal, glad you are excited to get yours :)
@purism
Thanks for the confirmation! And yup, can't wait haha. Thanks for all the hard work!

@purism @RandomPhoton

Man i can't wait to get my claws on mine! I guess the metal acts as a heatsink? I'm so glad you went that route!

@briana
It seems from the matrix rooms that the sides are metal and the back is not. Since you have to be transmissive to RF.
@purism
@purism I replied to the email about preferred shipping batch, but have not heard anything since.. when should the next response come back (I am quite anxios)
@purism great news! Seems like only a matter weeks before we can at least feast our eyes on video's of the device in action. I was late so I'll have to wait a bit longer to get hands-on. Super excited.

@purism shame on me! I forgot to say please 😕
@purism Cannot wait to get my hands on it!
@purism Terminal and Text Editor apps shipped by default - looks like an invitation to write custom scripts :)
@purism does the actual phone support full OpenGL, or just ES?
@purism awesome! cant wait for the reviews
@purism
Finally! Here's my Blackberry's alternate
@purism
Definitely a hot candodate for being my next phone
@purism
I read today about it, but I see a very big problem. I have a handful Android-Apps, which I need every day (for example Threema).
And I think it needs years that the most necessary apps are on pureOS too. To reach the mass of people there would be the way, to add a ligth pure version of android too on the phone. So people can use a few android apps till there is a pureOS-version of it. I think this is a necessary intermediate step.
@purism
It would be my dream to have this secure phone and OS, but this way it´s not practicable and not usable in everyday life.
