Billionaires are like zits. We could get rid of them by popping them. More will show up though. Or we get rid of them by curing the skin condition by smashing capitalism and replacing it by something better.
This metaphor means that billionaire rights apoligists / enablers worship big lumps of pus.... I am liking it more and more.
So when we see characters show up in other strips (as in today's 'Blondie'), it should not be surprising that the set of strips from which those characters are drawn is also quite limited. ('Toot' continues.)

Lots of wonderful comic strips in today's newspaper — one is really spoiled for choice this Monday — but my favourite is today's Zits.
I know far too many folks — who shall remain nameless — for whom macaroni and cheese is too bewildering to make from scratch, and/or whose attempts at one-pot cooking end up with a sink full of pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
