Just watched last night's game between the Wave and Gotham. Chicken Esther is proud of Esther, even if they took away her second goal.
And OMG Jadyn Shaw! You could tell how much it meant to her to score in her first game, as she cried in her post game interview. They mentioned she's had 7 different coaches in the last 2 years! I hope she finds some consistency at Gotham.
Oh, and did you know that brick walls can jump? I wish I had a clear picture of this moment.

I didn't realize that the Concacaf W Champions Cup was going to be an annual thing.
I guess that's cool. I hope they do a better job promoting it this year, so that more people show up. I'd love for this to eventually have Champions League type of excitement (though the schedule doesn't quite allow for that, yet).
It's also nice to see Vancouver Rise FC representing the NSL.
Damn, Gotham is having some serious roster issues. Bruninha is starting as the right forward, and they literally don't have anyone else.
I kind of love seeing Betos so active with the Gotham, even though she's probably only gotten minutes in 2 non league games in the last 2 years. She's clearly still a big part of the team, even if she's not on the field.
Absolutely ridiculous! In what universe is this a clear and obvious offside position? They actually called the ref over for this. The lines in the grass make it really easy to see that 2 NC players are further in.
What are we even doing?

At least the ref got it right and awarded the goal, but that should never have been a check.
