I use #Lucidchart for these because UML style used by #drawio is the crappy and convoluted UML version, and with #yEd you have to go too great lengths for a trivial task: https://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/2054/is-a-data-flow-diagram-palette-available

It is sad how weak the support is for this diagram type among the tools, given that it is the most useful of them all...

Edit: actually draw.io also has old school versions in the palette so I was wrong. I might use that in the future :-)

Liked their layout algorithms for objects en connector routing styles.

Jos joutuisitte piirtämään diagrammeja välillä käsin, välillä ohjelmallisesti, mitä välinettä käyttäisitte?

Harmikseni #yEd ei tarjoa ohjelmallista rajapintaa, mutta toki jonkin tuetun avoimen formaatin kautta onnistuisi -- vaan on vähän kankeaa ilman apia.

Maybe I'm way too overly familiar with Affinity Designer.. but I totally recreated the organogram I made with yEd in a pretty short time frame and have full power to prettify it further without much hassle. In the future I might just consider doing the organograms with Designer instead, and only use yEd for 'sketches' for an idea what layout to use. Mmm. #yEd #AffinityDesigner

Mrm, never noticed it before but yEd is apparently shit at smooth corners. Also utter shit at vectorizing fonts, gotta embed them in the PDF instead. I've never seen such borked up fonts before. #yEd
