Can anybody tell my how I can use #Paypal to transfer money without first telling them (Paypal) my bank account?

I mean, they don't need that: there's money on my account, my money, that I want transferred to another account.

Tried their "Paypal assistent", and that must be the worst commandline search machine ever. I imagine it does a grep with your words on the articles in their FAQ, and that's it. And, as in every other case, there's no real person around to help at this moment.

Of course, the FAQ is full of advice on how to add all your other financial data, but nothing about how to keep that info to yourself. I imagine I'm not the only one asking this question.

What I'm trying to do is delete my account. There's a bit of #money on it, that I want to donate to the @internetarchive, but I don't want Paypal, or their buddy #Xoom, snooping around in my business.

I opened a Paypal account years ago exactly for that: being able to pay online without involving my bank account. That was the whole point of having a Paypal account. If it would get hacked, I'd lose a small amount of money, and that's it.

But apparently it's no longer enough for them to be my online #wallet and hold my money, this wallet also wants the bank cards.

So F*** them, I'm out. But I don't want them to get that last bit of money that's there. They already took €8 for "inactivity service fee", I don't want them to take the rest too.
