Would you join a writing residency? Talk about your reasons.

No, not with the aim of writing a lot during this time. I would probably exchange ideas with other authors there and share experiences, which would take up most of my time. It would certainly help me in the long term, but my writing progress would suffer in the short term.

However, a kind of writing holiday alone would be helpful in terms of word count.
