#ScribesAndMakers Day 12: If you write about craftspeople, scientists, or artists, do you ask specialists, rely on a websearch, rely on your own knowledge, or something else?

A combination of all of the above. If I know someone with specialized knowledge, I'll ask them. If not, I'll look up information on the Internet.

Even in fantasy worlds, some things are close to real-life, so readers can relate to them.

#ScribesAndMakers Day 27
Were you ever discouraged by great art of someone else?

Have I ever experienced 'imposter syndrome'? Yeah, a lot. I stopped doing art for a long time because I was discouraged by seeing people who were so much more talented than me.

I'm about to start book 3 of my Cosmic Turkey series. Naturally, I keep getting ideas for other things to write. I'll just keep alternating between them until I accidentally finish something.

I said I would do it, and so I did it.

Clocking in at just over 78,000 words, 6,000 of which were written today, the draft of my paranormal horror story Surviving Grace is **done**.

*collapses into a puddle after locking the manuscript away* Now to forget this thing exists for at least a couple of months.
