Interesting! 2026 the year of #gnu #linux servers? Oh wait... half the online world already runs *nix as its fundament (including big names such as Microsoft)..

Maybe this can be regarded as a superset of #fediverse, as every #DIY node is part of a bigger network! Maybe.. it can be regarded an interconnected network of servers?

WAIT here's a thought: Let's call such a system of independent but interconnected servers an #internet or #worldwideweb (*files for trademark*)! 😉

So... my long term ambitions in the online world are to try and get my new website finished (ADHD brain is crippling me at the moment). When that is done I will slowly start to peel away from the web. The ultimate goal for me is to keep chatting with folks on fedi networks, get more folks connecting through LXMF/LXST via Reticulum, listen to the radio and watch videos still but not be on the world wide web as much. I'm sick of how the corporates have allowed the web to be toxified. I've tried to show people there is a better way but sadly they wish to remain in toxic online spaces. Not much I can do. I need to put myself first now so I can concentrate on putting my life straight. Always leave a door open for people to join me on less toxic spaces but they have to come on their own accord. I want to go outside and "touch grass" more rather than be stuck in front of a fake reality. #socialmedia #worldwideweb #mentalhealth
