Research Institute BC Policy Solutions says British Columbia''s occupational heat exposure regulations are inadeqate and require updating. They lack clarity on when protective measures are needed, are outdated in terms of the content of the measures themselves, are not widely known by workers, and poorly enforced. This is particularly so for farm workers, who spend all day toiling outside in the heat.
