Maybe this is why the MOSFET blew that drives the claw.

Amazingly, the exact same code as I wrote many years ago still works.

Just put some new GPIO pins in and voila!

Took a little while to actually find a Raspberry Pi of mine that hasn't died.

But I found a Pi 3 A+ and we've got life!

That's the buttons and lights wired up.

Just need to flash an image to a Pi and we should be ready for first boot.

I wasn't sure if I'd need to re-wire the power supplies as they are in another compartment which would make slightly more sense for the main board to be in.

However, it turns out the cable is long enough for the claw gantry. So mounting it here seems to be ideal.
