At Sunday we're went on the Amblève between Stavalot and Coo (10km). Rated between Ourthe and Rur in terms of difficulty the river offered us a lot of nice play spots with rocks and rapids.
We had already handed over our accommodation in a clean and tidy condition before the trip, so that we could all make our way home after the tour.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable and lovingly self organized gathering of almost thirty European whitewater canoeists. I met lots of nice new people and learned new things on the water. Many thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful weekend. 3/3

Our Belgium friends invited us to paddle small, sporty rivers in Belgium and Germany. Last weekend, the time had come and on friday, we paddled 18km at the Ourthe between Houffalize and Nisramont. The Ourthe is not a very challenging body of watervery was a funny tour to warm up and to have a chat with new people. 1/3

In the evening our hosts made a really great dinner which German organizers would do well to take a leaf out of their book.
