#FilHenley just put me onto these. They're a bunch of high school children from #SanAnselmo, #California.

Not my instruments nor style of music. But the claim is that they are very good technically. Fil was waxing lyrical about there being not a scintilla of AutoTune and the skills of the drummer and guitarists. And YouTube commenters have said the same.

So I thought that I'd ask two people that I see regularly talking about such things. (Other people are welcome to chime in too.) Are they as good as I have read?

For context: #FilHenley of #WingsOfPegasus recently got into the papers for demonstrating scientifically that #CelineDion mimed, and that that was planned from the start because the rehearsal was mimed, too. Xe unwittingly opened up a can of worms about #KenTamplin (comparatively unknown old YouTuber) when Fil's revelation the xe was miming and using a guitar that did not even have the heard notes on its fretboard triggered a storm of other discoveries about Tamplin.

People say that one cannot expect #TaylorSwift to sing live for hours, several times per week, for over a year.

Speaking as someone who was not only expected but required to sing for hours, several times per week including (I jest not) twice on Sundays, for well over a decade; I attest that people *can* expect this, and have.

One doesn't get the holidays off, either. Quite the converse: those are the most demanding times.

#FilHenley of #WingsOfPegasus just did a video on a childrens's talent show where the show was pitch correcting the contestants for broadcast. My first thought was that the unreasonable expectations that this sets up are vastly unfair to, and massively discouraging to, the children.

Fil Henley, of Wings of Pegasus fame, is in the news today. But not for anything related to Ken Tamplin. Xe is used as background in some versions of a story on a piece by Liberation where the journalists reporting on the report have done a modicum of research of their own.
