Got #windward on the table yesterday during a #boardgaming night. I played it a few times after first getting it, but it fell out of the rotation for some reason.
We played with the great white crestor this time, which made the end game a bit more tense, and gave those that were behind a chance to catch up.
I thought I had the game in the bag when I reached the final score limit first, but ended up losing after a couple other players hit higher scores on their final turns.
Since I am both a nerd, and a #kitesurfer with a previous life in the aviation industry, I was really interested in a #tabletop board game that I stumbled across a few years ago, called “Windward.”

It takes a little bit to get going and learn the rules, but once you get it, it is a really engaging game and story.
We’ve been playing it on and off for a few years now, and I finally snagged the “Treacherous Skies” expansion on eBay.
It adds an entirely new level of strategy, and I dare say this might be me and my sons’ favorite board game at this point.

Remember Windward? Released in 2015, it's an action-filled multiplayer sandbox game that puts you in control of a ship sailing the high seas of a large procedurally-generated world and it's getting a sequel with Windward Horizon.
