After some tinkering I was able to get a #csgo dedicated server up and running on my local lan. I played a few rounds with my son and bots. It's nice to be able to play on a server that isn't filled with pro-caliber players and/or cheaters. We had a great time!

The auroras in #longdark are so pretty. I had to stop to take a few screenshots, despite the crazy wolves that were prowling on the frozen lake nearby!

Found a Hungarian #csgo server with a good ping and good competition. Of course I got schooled 😂. Regardless, it feels great to be playing this version again #linuxgaming

Excited to see #csgo back on #steam. I didn't like that #valve replaced it directly with CS2 and got rid of all the achievements I worked hard to accumulate. Also, CS2 doesn't really run well on the #steamdeck. As a result I never really got into the sequel.

The new edition doesn't seem to have achievements and the match making is gone, but it will be nice to play with bots and friends on my personal server.

Got #windward on the table yesterday during a #boardgaming night. I played it a few times after first getting it, but it fell out of the rotation for some reason.

We played with the great white crestor this time, which made the end game a bit more tense, and gave those that were behind a chance to catch up.

I thought I had the game in the bag when I reached the final score limit first, but ended up losing after a couple other players hit higher scores on their final turns.

Been getting back into #wingspan with my family. We played the European expansion for the first time yesterday, and found that it added a few nice touches, but didn't change the gameplay all that much. #boardgaming #boardgames

I started a new run in #thelongdark. It felt like a good thing to do given all the cold weather and stress that's out in the world today. I've been regularly coming back to this game for years now because it offers a sense of peace and solitude, while also giving you a sense of accomplishment when you figure out how to survive with the limited resources you have on hand.
