Well- it may not actually be the same 'Amy', of course. We wouldn't recognise her now. But - it's a small hedgehog starting a nest in the foodbox - which is what Amy did in the summer.

We spotted him/her leaving the food box & on the way home to bed. He/she tried to be unobtrusive in the corner behind the garden bench, but decided that wasn't working...
He/she headed off to bed & made it into the undergrowth with no mishaps. Sweet dreams little hog.

#Lydia T. PottOne of our visitiing foxes was limping badly last night. A close inspection of the photos & videos shows a wound on his/her leg. We wll be upping the quantity of provided food a little so that he/she can rest the leg a bit, & won't go too hungry while it heals. I wish we could help more, but that's all we can do.

PaulI am leading a walk on Thursday on a reserve I’ve never been to before so thought I ought to spend an evening getting a feel for the place.
