Most of what’s on the ground is old, but they’re predicting 10-20cm for today.

This cold snap reminds me of when that first (?) rover landed on Mars, and the TV reports were giving the Martian weather -- it was -27C or something like that where the rover was, and it was -39 here on the Canadian prairies.

"Officially colder than Mars! Remind us why we live here!"

Florida is not for the faint of heart. A lizard (small, yes, but still a lizard) just jumped out of my kitchen sink at me and I screeched and jumped. I’m not ashamed, though I’m not one to shriek at mice or anything else, this scared the holy heck out of me.
