@SeaFury Within the past day I have learned:

1. Birds have "under fluffies."

2. This is not the first use of the hashtag #wetChicken on Mastodon.

3. Bald Eagles have fluffy white feathers on their butts (via another toot).

My view of birds has taken a new and much more whimsical turn.

I just had my morning dose of dopamine.

Gabriel likes bathing and his favourite bathing tub is in my hands. It's absolutely precious. He waddles into the puddle of water in my cupped hands and cleans his tummy and under wings. He gets his back and neck under the tap, and cleans his face on my hands.

This is one of my absolute favourite things about keeping a budgie.
