On a lark, I was researching my trusty old West Bend bread machine which was purchased way back in 1995. Please note that I still use this bread machine at least once a week.
Surprisingly, it appears my bread machine was actually recalled that same year for potentially over-heating and causing a fire hazard. Yikes!
So, I have been using this bread machine for 39 years. Yes, 39 years. Nothing has caught fire yet. I may have gotten a good unit. Fingers crossed!
