The feeling of running low on outdoor dining opportunities is heavy.

Doing a little #weeknighting jam of my own tonight. Garlic confit salmon with tzatziki, romaine, cabbage, radish, cucumber, and snap pea salad with tahini date dressing and feta.
It’s been a while… grilling season is back(ish), so tonight’s #weeknighting meal is grilled sausage and veggies on creamy cheesy polenta.

I guess this technically counts as #weeknighting but… no kids this week and I was feeling it.

Crispy-skinned steam-poached salmon, on caper-lemon vinaigrette greens, with buerre blanc, and sweet potato fries with tarragon mayo.

#weeknighting hits different when every day is the weekend, but: pork roast with squash puree and roasted potato wedges. Autumn food mode. (Neglected to snap the photo before digging in. Also not pictured: spinach, arugula, balsamic, beet, goat cheese, pecan salad.)

(Bonus from last night: thanksgiving leftovers hot turkey sandwich + french fries.)

Reproduced the dinner that @sean made when I was in Montréal this past summer. Sous vide filet mignon seared in a pan with peppercorn sauce, boiled then roasted young potatoes, quick green beans with oil and lemon. Potatoes and beans were from the garden. #weeknighting
Chicken veggie fried rice (I always save leftover takeout rice for this), crispy sunny side up egg, chili crunch. #weeknighting
Failed to get a plate shot, but last night’s #weeknighting meal: pre-marinated pork loin, grilled gochugaru broccoli, celery root rémoulade.
I don’t usually go to the effort of firing up the charcoal when #weeknighting but when you find skirt steak, it calls for fajitas, and it’s really not worth the trouble if you don’t hit it with the hardest sear you can manage. Bonus that it heats up quickly when in meat forge mode.
