"...👉A quarter of [#Maricopa] county's[, which includes #Phoenix, #AZ] indoor deaths took place in #RVs or #MobileHomes👈, a popular source of affordable housing, especially for retirees, but which are often poorly insulated and too rundown to qualify for #Weatherization programs.

I use MT cadastral - https://svc.mt.gov/msl/cadastral - every day for my job. It is a service of the Montana public library system, and shows publicly available property records.

Community Action of Ventura County is, along with MANDO Youth Connect, the newest social services agency under the roof of Community Conscience. Today CA-VC executive director Susy Lopez-Garcia briefed Thousand Oaks residents on the agency’s services, including food programs, weatherization, utility assistance, and more. Welcome CA-VC, and thanks for doing this essential work! Learn more at ca-vc.org.

Does anyone know if there are any good materials to use for insulating a house with plaster walls? Whenever I look this up, I see articles saying the insulation will just get wet, causing it to sag down to the bottom of the wall cavity. The conventional wisdom seems to say it's not worth it, and to just make your home more air-tight and turn up the furnace. I have a hard time swallowing this, though. Any suggestions?
Need to crack a window when the dryer is running, the default "fresh air" entry in my house appears to be through the 1960's style attic door.
Great Wx introduction video by Minnesota. Yeah, your power bill might be boring. But... *gestures vaguely* for real? You want this to keep happening? 🥵
