Am I salty? Maybe, but...

I'm trying to figure out some math for my jRPG inspired small game, and I started to fiddling with the numbers, formulas and such, so I decided to ask the LLM of the day for some ideas, and it sucked hard.

I asked my search engine of the day for the same, got a Tumblr from 10 years ago with the ideas, concepts and math that I needed to clarify.

Me at work: Here's an example of where Copilot performed "analysis" of data based on tags and pre-existing training instead of the (actually identical) data it was given. And then it bullshitted some statistics when probed. Be careful when you trust GenAI to do analysis for you.

Colleague: Everyone knows that Copilot is rubbish.

Me, in my head: Yes, that's exactly the message to take home here 🙄

Nachtrag: Hab mir dann doch auch noch den Beitrag der energiepolitischen Sprecherin der SPD angehört. Es ist ein Elend. Zum Glück wurde das Herumlavieren von einer Zwischenfrage der Grünen unterbrochen, aber danach ging es umso kruder weiter (energiepolitischer Koalitionsdruck, dies das).
