Oggi la conosciamo per la bellissima interpretazione grunge che ne fecero i #PearlJam negli anni '90 senza sapere che #LastKiss in realtà è la cover di uno dei maggiori succesi del 1962, scritta e interpretata da #WayneCochran.

Riconoscibilissimo per via della sua buffa pettinatura bionda, Cochran guadagnò una buona reputazione come musicista #soul bianco e questo brano è un bell'esempio del suo stile che non disdegnava di ammiccare anche a sonorità diverse come la surf-music:
