I just got this little beauty back from service. It has been repaired and serviced by a very helpful watch repairman.
It’s a King Seiko 5246-6020 from January 1972. The case is in nice used condition. The dial is in perfect condition and the crystal is a NOS one sourced from Japan. It also came with the original bracelet which is also in really good condition 🤩

Beautiful sunny autumn day here in northern Denmark ☀️
I finally got the correct watch hands on this gem recently. I really have soft spot for those #vintage DS-2.

This old Certina DS-2 is a fairly new addition to my collection. After testing it a bit on a black leather strap, which I don't really think worked so well, it looks much better with a brown strap.
I feel pretty lucky to have found this quite uncommon dial variant.

A bit of amateur #watchrestoration. I polished the glass and cleaned up the case of this wonderful Certina DS-2 and put a new strap on it yesterday. It has a very uncommon dial colour, sort of petroleum blue.

Want a Zenith Chronomaster Revival Shadow, but with a Prince-purple dial, a real minutes/seconds track, and a telemeter scale.

What’s your #DreamWatch?

Hm, kind of hard to see in that shot, actually. #WristCheck #WatchesOfMastodon #watchstodon
The bund strap really butches up the A-15, don’t you think? #WristCheck #WatchesOfMastodon #watchstodon
Could you make a watch movement with transparent sapphire bridges, or are there materials science reasons that wouldn’t work? #watchstodon #horology
(Is there a watch collecting hashtag on here? #watchstodon?) Anyway, my collection is neither large nor terribly expensive, but I do have a 'one in, one out' rule to keep myself from overspending. Mostly it works.
