Don't hate the media... BECOME THE MEDIA! (as #JelloBiafra famously chanted) resonates louder today than in did in the 90s. We actually have the infrastructure to do it, now, thanks to the internet and the #reclaimedWeb.

We should #walletVote to *stop* support of #elite corporate media and *really support the hell out of* independent investigative journalism.

I've been writing to the editors of the #canadian #msm, but they don't listen. They think they're doing great. They are not and they need to see why.

In functioning democracies it's ultimately the voters who are responsible, since they pick their politicians, right?. Sure, lots of things go wrong in this process, and promises are broken. But in essence it works like that.

On the other hand, people ought to be more aware of the fact that their #walletVote is possibly more powerful and direct than their political vote in an election.

I stand by my claim: people like to say they want change, but their spendings say otherwise.
