Rabid #Ubiquiti fans colliding with deliberately poor #Verizon #5G support for 3rd party devices should hopefully fix the latter. I've literally watched #VZW actively kick compatible devices off their 5G bands

Op donderdag een prachtige (samen)tuin in de mooie Willibrorduswijk (Borgerhout) plant klaar maken zodat buurtbewoners komend weekend de tuin nog meer kunnen laten leven 🌻 en nog meer laten groeien 🌿 en vergroenen πŸͺ΄

Got an email from Verizon Wireless that my loyalty discount is going away on September 1. With a link to get info. The link showed a page about this but it then immediately popped to my overview page.

So I called. The out of country representative stated that they will be sending another email before September 1 with what the NEW discounts are, and to wait. Then he tried to upsell me an additional line.

Verizon wireless voice and data services showing widespread outages since about 7am Pacific time. Reports of outages across the U.S. but the problem also is affecting international travelers on Verizon Travel Pass connections. WiFi calling and data appear to work. Curiously, SMS texting appears to work for international travelers.

#VerizonWireless has 180 MHz of #midBand deployed in Albuquerque, depending on where you look. 4CA #B48 #CBRS #LTE, 100 MHz #n77 #5G. Below field test screenshots are proof (on a #VZW trial #eSIM)

Sitting here at Cheesecake Factory and decided to do a #5G #speedtest, now that I have #VZW's trial #eSIM. Verizon C-Band works here, but #TMobile n41 is about 500 Mbps to VZW's 200-300, and upload speeds are 40-50 Mbps to VZW's 10. And upload speeds get worse if I set my phone on the table.

Note that this is indoors but quite near cell sites.

Either way, definitely not switching my main line to Verizon, though maybe I can get a US Mobile eSIM now?
