Seems to me that Patrick Lefevere should and or will be pretty pissed at Remco. So Remco dropped out of the GC without a serious effort to save his placement (which to be fair might not have worked any way). Yes, Remco got two stage wins and a ton of screen time, but it was all just about Remco and nothing about the team. Remco lost two stages getting dropped on smaller climbs and getting beat by riders several talent rungs below him. Not a good look.

I have to say that the end of today's stage was perhaps the most satisfying I have seen in a Grand Tour.

It was disappointing to see Roglic and Vingegaard drop Kuss on the Angliru today. Are they just fucking with him? What does the director sportif think?

As much as I like Rog, it would be cool to see Kuss win la Vuelta. #vuelta23 #cycling

But what Roglic and Vingegaard did today was absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful to Sepp Kuss (ON HIS BIRTHDAY NO LESS)

TODAY'S PROFILE: One of only two #Vuelta23 stages above 200 km - yet also one of the easiest on the paper. Just pay attention in the descends and maybe take a look at the bonus sprint, and that's about it.

WEATHER: Quite a hot day. Wind will be picking up towards the end of the stage. Direction would have to change slightly compared to the forecast to cause echelons though.
