ok I just though a thought into the room:
I found the process before the actual vote happends often more important then the vote itself.
What happends before will shape how and what ppl vote for. The voting process will then 'just' sort the different opinions.
Depending which voting system is used, some will be closer presenting the reality then others.
@douginamug Oh ma, #socialcoop is chock full of governance geeks. I wonder if this might be an opportunity to organize a #tootup on the topic? We'd pick a date, time, and hashtag for folks interested in discussing voting systems. Maybe #votechat?
