It's also worth noting that the figures are talking about the Inverness, Skye and West Ross-shire constituency and that includes a big swathe of the Lib Dem supporting west coast which Holyrood's Inverness & Nairn does not.

So the Lib Dems may be winning there, but they're not winning HERE.

A grand evening and a chance to meet friends and new faces last night for our SNP Meet the Candidate event with #EmmaRoddick who answered questions on everything from lamppost posters to wind farms.

We also enjoyed a quiz led by Drew Hendry and I came away with a bottle of Scottish Parliament whisky signed by John Swinney. Now got to decide if it's collectable or, more likely, for drinking.
