For #BlackHistoryMonth, I'm introducing African deities in my daily god toots. The #Vodoun spirit La #Marassa, the “Divine Twins” represents double or triple blessings or a binary like day and night. They personify the sun and the moon just like #MawuLisa in the Fon pantheon. Together they become a two-sexed god that symbolises inseparable divine unity. Twins, especially if it is a boy and a girl, are considered their earthly delegates.
