Our Global Forest has passed 2000 trees! We planted a tree for each member who renewed before the year's end: 237 new trees have been planted in the Bulindi Chimpanzee & Community Project, Uganda.
This long-term tree planting, conservation, and livelihoods project reduces threats to wild chimps in western Uganda by restoring and reconnecting their habitats and addressing causes of deforestation.

The latest contribution comes from the organisers of the #EMPSEB29 conference, which @dnjournals attended in the Summer to give an EASE workshop on Science Communication.
Their donation of 35 trees to the Home for Trees project in Czechia takes us to 1891 trees around the world at 23 different sites, organized through the Plant-for-the-Planet scheme.
