This is peak SW right here...
KP scrapping narrowleaf yucca leaves to make brushes for painting on ceramics. A pocket gopher ate the rootball of this yucca and partially pulled it underground. KP scavenged the leaves. Use what you have!

And just so you don’t think I’m a real go-getter: these rested on the floor in the hallway for probably four months before I got up the energy to mount them.

They were bought at the Container Store probably 20 years ago and were used for most of that time to store all the things a family with three toddlers and tweens and teens needs to have handy in a bathroom but wants very much not to show off. They probably cost $100 or so for the bunch, and I am sure would cost more today or be hard to find in material that could get abused like this without falling apart. #ReUse #MakeDo #UseWhatYouGot
Always trying to use-it-up-or-wear-it-out around here so my Project for today was rescuing some galvanized metal cube storage things, which we had ripped out of the bathroom we were remodeling, cleaning the ever-loving crap out of them, and mounting them in the hall near our washer and dryer. Left cube-shaped holes for artsy stuff, or just more storage. These will likely see a lot of use for towels and laundry junk.
