A reminder! Alt text not only means your stuff is going to get more shares, it also helps people to be able to know what you're posting. Be inclusive, use alt text.

You missed the point.
#UseAltText to describe an image.
If you would stand in a church with very impressive detailed frescoes – and your blind friend would ask you: "Anything special around here?"
Then you would NOT tell them you cannot say anything because of overwhelming complexity.
BUT you would tell what you see – either in a few enthusiastic words, or with a bit more details.
Even a very short Alt Text is better than saying plain nothing.
With everything going on, thank you to those who are using alt text.
Vision impaired/blind people want to support everyone and stay vigilant. Using alt text (or adding it for those who can't) makes sure we can do that.
#Accessibility #UseAltText
It's interesting how so many small accounts are so diligent about #AltText and how some large accounts seem to care so little. If you have a large following, be a good example. It's not hard. There is OCR available if you're posting screenshots.
Let's all be better.
Quick search didn't bring up anything; is there a way to save images with the alt text saved as meta data, so you don't have to repeat alt text when posting again?
I'd like to encourage everyone to use the alt-text when you post images. Because it's the right thing to do.
I also encourage everyone to read the alt-text. You may be surprised to find out how much more context you get. Some users really go hard.
I really hope this doesn't read like scolding. It's meant to be encouraging. And I promise not to get started on camel case for tags.
Sorry, that was cheating a bit.
