At the #MSU vs #UofMN game number 2 this afternoon and we have a perfect example of the Gophers "second game" problem this season. The Mavericks are leading 1-0 on even shots and the Gophers are playing frankly slow and sloppy. At the first intermission last night the score was reversed on a 4x shot differential.

Got to see the U of MN women's hockey home opener tonight, and it was quite a game! BU's Carnahan weathered more than 40 shots (at least 10 in one 3min sequence) and managed to keep out all but one, but that one was all that MN's Abbey Murphy needed to put in to make it a winning night.
