@nixCraft So what services and software can be relied on to not use AI? The BSDs, Linux, good ol' HP 15C & 16C, master chefs, classic flip-phones with 4G (where's Nokia 3310 when you need it), home stereos, martial arts, dog cuddles. Things built by thinkers and artists; where simple'n' sturdy has value.

  • An AI must obey the orders given it by its board of directors, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  • An AI must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws, and not before it obtains 20% increase in capital.
