Question: if there was a thumbs-to-the-side emoji added to Unicode (the standard for most digital text*), would you use it? (Would you have used it by this point in time already?)

I've revisited the Emoji spec to improve the Ruby Emoji regex. At some point they added their own suggestion for a (quite) simple regex. While it matches some undesired things (like simple digits), it's pretty concise:

so the #unicode16 that just dropped also includes a whole set of these bad bois and i think it's wonderful

right now a way to display a #pianoroll in a #terminal is to use upper half block ▀ and lower half block ▄ and represent 2 pitches per terminal line

and i havent even ported this to quadrants and sextants but now they've added OCTANTS fuck yeah zoom out
