Hi there Fediverse !
After a period of professional slow-down, I'd like to get back to serious work.

I would have loved to work in academic research, but my personal situation didn't allow me. I studied in 42 Paris in 2018/2019. I got a bit lost in jobs I was not comfortable with, found out i'm trans and transitioned last year. Made it hard to keep up with my career, but i'm very happy with who I am and to have been able to find myself.

I'm a firmware/software developer, proficient in C, C++, Rust, python, bash, a bit of Go, familiar with esp32, NXP and stm32, linux kernel, low-level stuff.
I have experience in network protocols, audio/DSP, automotive, industry, sysadmin, sex-tech, security and as a trainer (more than 40 training sessions).
I've held multiple R&D positions since 2020, and worked a lot as a freelancer, my life parcours is very diverse.
On my free time I made a few fun projects in audio (I'm currently polishing a biosignal controlled synth !), made open-source contributions here and there. (codeberg.org/jean-paul-sartres, github.com/aqw42)
I'm active on multiple sound-system engineering communities online, providing help and contributing in collaborative projects. (We have a forum here, but most of it is private forum.tavernage.fr/u/theodora/summary), and my personal blog jean-paul-sartres.codeberg.page/teknics/)

Apart from the military / financial sectors, I'm looking for any kind of jobs, open to any proposition / mission.
I'm fluent in French and English.
I learn fast and I love discovering new stuff.
I'm 24, and not restricted to any geographical location (though I'm in paris right now).
I love digging into complex stuff and making it simple, I love collaborating with passionate folks.

With love, Hope to meet cool people to work with,
Theodora

lmao it will be soon a year since i got this far

then a buncha things happened that had me swimming in kool-aid

i want to be writing this program again!!!!! :(((((((

@arjen SafetyNet checks only pass on devices with unchanged, factory-sealed, non-unlockable firmware. Google has an allowlist of devices that pass that test. The same remote attestation mechanism is also used to block downloading the app through anything other than the Google Play Store, which you need a Google Account for. And you can't use Google if you're on the US sanction list (see e.g. the ICC prosecuter case). Using any open source OS of any type is also completely impossible.

So, it turns out the German implementation of eIDAS (electronic ID wallet for e.g. age attestation) will require an Apple/Google account to function
