Building out the looking glass travel mechanic, if any mirror can be an entry point, then it must be keyed somehow.
Branch 1 - acquiring and protecting these keys becomes a whole new subtext to the game since they are so powerful
Are the Red Queen's *tarts* these arcane keys?
Branch 2 - equally important, is that profession of making mirrors, and by extension, plain glass also becomes a very nb 'strategic industry"
