I have played a few short solo game sessions recently to test system/characters where I generate a short goal with one path and set limited scene/moment tracker (see image sample).

Is there a term for this time of game session? (mini-game, a micro quest, a obstacle course, a gauntlet, solo starter, or something else?)

January (2023) I did the #city23 challenge for a month (where you draw a location every day) and use that for my SoloRPG game this year. It was a lot of fun, but having a sketchbook that you have to leaf through to find out a location is kind of a pain.

So, looking for suggestion on drawing locations in 2024, but portable, analog, small and/or light.

As always with soloRPG games, PREP is PLAY!
