Hi, I miss Draw This in Your Style challenges... They were so popular on IG and I would like if there or something like this in Fediverse.

Art Question #27:

Do you prefer furries or humans?

A question to those who paint with acrylics. Which brands do you like? I only tried Amsterdam from Talens. I think the colors could be a bit more saturated. But maybe it’s the medium and that’s how it should look like? No experience. #artquestion #traditionalArt #acrylicPaints

And in English? :)
What ink do you use for drawing and/or calligraphy and why?

Would you recommend any additives to emulsify thin ink, or dilute-ink, dilute-acrylic paint, etc.?

That the ink might flow well on a dip pen nib, for instance.
(To turn thin watery pigment in to an emulsion which beads properly upon the nib.)

Would you suggest shellac, gum arabic, some kind of liquid gloss acrylic medium, or something else?

Thanks!

I soaped it, rinsed it, washed it now many times, nothing changes. Anyone knows any magic solutions or should I call it a lost case? #artQuestion #art #brush

This serene panoramic landscape, with its mix of pastoral fields and delicate architecture, masterfully balances nature and civility. How does this ink wash elevate your perception of historical Paris?

Bottle Cooler France, Saint Cloud, 18th century | Cleveland Museum of Art

The form of these cachepots is entirely typical of Saint-Cloud porcelain of about 1725. Their decoration, based upon Chinese porcelains of the so-called "famille-verte" type, is most unusual. Polychromed enamels were not often employed on Saint-Cloud porcelains, and figural scenes are very rare.

Behind the scenes with some of the photos I took of roller skates to use in my Roller Skating series. I have the white roller skates. I want to actually paint designs on them. Two different designs for each skate and then offer it for sale as home décor. I have a request from the Art Community here – what is/are good paints that will adhere to the skates. Which would be better: the Squeegee Paint Technique or the Hydro Dipping Technique?

January (2023) I did the #city23 challenge for a month (where you draw a location every day) and use that for my SoloRPG game this year. It was a lot of fun, but having a sketchbook that you have to leaf through to find out a location is kind of a pain.

So, looking for suggestion on drawing locations in 2024, but portable, analog, small and/or light.

As always with soloRPG games, PREP is PLAY!
