I'm working on getting my #city23 / #dungeon23 journal into Affinity Publisher

So far the text bit has been easy - cause I typed each entry up already but the maps ... well that'll be a new trick for me as digital drawing isn't something I've dabbled in.

All done, heck of a journey to start with a blank journal and end with 53 spreads of a city.

Thanks to all who cheers me on. I won't be doing a city/dungeon24 but will be working on turning this year's into something.

To those doing a daily creative endeavor for 2024 be it a dungeon, a city, a hex crawl or what have you, I wish you much luck & hope for your success. My only advice is to stick with it & make the creative journey part of your day as quickly as you can.

Throughout 2023 I took part in #City23 (a variant of #Dungeon23 ) and created The Goblin City with a new entry for each day.

I was thinking of taking a break this year, but I enjoyed that project and so decided to continue building the city for another 366 days with #Lore24.

One train line departs from The Commons Station and follows a magically determined route through the city that is never the same, with tracks and stations appearing just minutes ahead of the train. While impractical for commutes, the train cars for this line are never empty, with adventure seekers riding to either enjoy surprises out the window or step out the door at a strange spot.
