lfiskDeer have been killing some of these trees for years. Several in this row have been replaced 2-3 times now. Even with plastic protectors on the trunk the Deer still manage to knock them off by rubbing😑
S FraserDoes anyone have any idea what removed the bark from this tree? The wood of the tree is extremely smooth to the touch. The bark is lying at the base, there are no signs of burning.
Would lightening have caused this?
